While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Dozens of casualties in fresh Israeli strikes on Yemen’s capital

Sunday 24-August-2025

SANA’A, (PIC)

At least four people were killed and 71 others wounded on Sunday afternoon after Israeli airstrikes hit several locations in the Yemeni capital Sana’a, according to local health authorities.

Multiple casualties were reported at a gas station run by the Yemeni Petroleum Company, which was one of several sites targeted in the city. Medical sources warned that the death toll could rise as several victims were brought to hospitals in critical condition.

Fire crews were working to extinguish blazes triggered by the strikes in the south and west of Sana’a, the Yemeni civil defense authority said in a statement.

Local residents said the strikes hit the presidential palace, the Capital Secretariat building, the state oil company building, fuel depots, and power stations in central, southern and southwestern parts of the city.

Israeli war minister Yisrael Katz announced in a statement that airstrikes were carried out in Yemen.

The Israeli occupation army said the bombed sites included the presidential palace, the 'Aser and 'Hizyaz power plants, and a fuel storage facility.

Israeli state-owned Kan TV reported that 14 warplanes took part in the attack, dropping about 40 bombs on Sana’a.

In a statement, Yemen’s Ansarullah group accused the Israeli occupation of carrying out “brutal aggression” against civilian facilities and held both Israel and the US responsible for what it described as a “heinous crime.”

The strikes came two days after Yemen’s armed forces fired another hypersonic ballistic missile at Tel Aviv, damaging houses with shrapnel but causing no reported casualties.

Yemen’s armed forces say their repeated missile and drone counterattacks on Israeli targets are aimed to pressure the Israeli occupation government to end its genocidal war on Gaza and lift its siege on the population.

'Hamas: Netanyahu obstructs the ceasefire agreement, more pressure needed to halt the genocide

Sunday 24-August-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Hamas Movement said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s approval of a plan to occupy Gaza, following the Palestinian factions’ acceptance of the mediators’ proposal, demonstrates his determination to obstruct any ceasefire agreement.

In a statement issued Sunday, 'Hamas said, “We agreed to a partial deal and expressed readiness for a comprehensive one, but Netanyahu rejects all solutions.”

'Hamas pointed to Israeli and American admissions confirming that Netanyahu is the true obstacle to prisoner exchange deals and ceasefire efforts.

The Movement highlighted remarks by former US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller, which confirm Netanyahu’s stalling and dishonesty, adding new conditions each time the agreement nears completion.

'Hamas emphasized that a ceasefire agreement is the only path to securing the release of captives, holding Netanyahu fully responsible for the fate of living detainees held by the resistance.

It added, “More than twenty-two months of aggression have exposed the illusion of ‘total victory’ dreamed by war criminals Netanyahu, Ben Gvir, and Smotrich.”

'Hamas called for continued official and popular pressure to stop the genocide and starvation targeting the Palestinian people.

UNRWA Chief warns famine is latest tragedy to hit Palestinians in Gaza

NEW YORK, August 24, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said that famine has become the latest calamity to befall the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

In statements posted on X, Lazzarini described the situation in Gaza as "hell is manifesting itself in all its forms in Gaza," stressing that the global slogan "never again" has been deliberately repeated and that it "will continue to haunt the world."

He underscored that "denial is the most hideous form of dehumanization."

Lazzarini called on the Israeli occupation government to stop promoting and spreading misleading narratives and allow humanitarian organizations to deliver aid without restrictions.

He further called for  granting international journalists to cover the situation independently from within Gaza. He said, "Every hour that passes has a price."

After four-day campaign, IOFs withdraw from the West Bank village of Al-Mughayir

Sunday 24-August-2025

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) withdrew this morning, Sunday, from Al-Mughayir village in the northeast of Ramallah after four days of tight siege and different violations.

According to local officials and media sources, the Israeli occupation forces carried out kidnappings, violent raids on homes, and thefts, during their four-day campaign in the village. They also assaulted and terrorized family members, wreaked havoc on olive groves, and started building a settler road on swaths of Palestinian-owned land.

After the IOFs withdrew from the village, local residents headed out to assess the damage, particularly the destruction that happened in olive groves, where hundreds of trees were reportedly uprooted and crushed.

Some villagers started in the morning to replant olive trees that had been uprooted by IOFs bulldozers around their village.

Despite withdrawing from inside Al-Mughayir, Israeli military vehicles and bulldozers are still being deployed around the village, where they are working to build a new settler road.

The aggressive IOFs raid on the village followed claims by the illegal Israeli settlers living in a nearby illegal outpost that one of them had been injured by a Palestinian.

During its campaign in the village, the IOFs assaulted and interrogated many citizens, kidnaped 14 of them, and stole about 20,000 shekels, and damaged and seized 15 vehicles, according to deputy chief of the village council Marzouq Abu Na’eem.

Groups of the illegal Israeli settlers storm Palestinian areas, attack citizens and property in the West Bank

Sunday 24-August-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers prevented, on Sunday morning, Palestinian farmers from reaching their swaths of land in the northern Jordan Valley, north of the occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported that armed settlers intercepted farmers as they were on their way to their lands in the Khilat Khadhir El-Farisiya area of the northern Jordan Valley and told them to leave the area.

Over the past few years, daily settler violence and crimes forced local residents to leave their homes in the same area.

In another incident, another group of settlers stormed the Bedouin community of Shallal El-'Auja in northern Jericho, where they harassed the local residents and verbally attacked them, causing panic among the families.

An armed settler reportedly seized a house and stayed inside it during the settler raid on Shallal El-'Auja.

Hamas values “brave and ethical step” taken by Veldkamp, other Dutch ministers

Sunday 24-August-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Hamas Movement has appreciated what it called the “brave and ethical step” that was taken by Dutch foreign minister Caspar Veldkamp and other ministers, who resigned in protest at their cabinet’s failure to approve additional sanctions against Israel.

“The resignations of these Dutch ministers reflect a principled stance that embodies humanitarian values and highlights commitment to the foundations of international law,” Hamas said in a statement on Saturday evening.

“Their resignations have sent a powerful message calling for urgent action to stop the fascist aggression against innocent civilians,” Hamas added.

Hamas urged the world’s governments and those with a clear conscience to make every effort to impose sanctions on the Israeli occupation state and pressure it to end its genocide and starvation campaign in the Gaza Strip.

All ministers and state secretaries from Nieuw Sociaal Contract (NSC) resigned on Friday after Veldkamp quit in protest over blocked sanctions against Israel, according to local news reports.

Veldkamp announced his resignation after a tense ministerial meeting, saying he could not carry out the foreign policy he deemed necessary in response to Israel’s latest military offensive in Gaza City and the approval of new settlement plans in the West Bank.

“We have, as a cabinet, already taken quite a number of steps. The Netherlands does not have to be ashamed of that. But I felt resistance in the cabinet against further measures in connection with what is happening in Gaza City and on the West Bank,” Veldkamp told reporters after the meeting.

“I have insufficient confidence that in the coming weeks or months that will be different, if I am so limited in my space to conduct the policy that I consider necessary. I am going home to write a resignation letter,” Veldkamp added.

His decision came one day after he told the House of Representatives that he would introduce additional measures against Israel, calling them “necessary” in a letter to lawmakers, but coalition partners opposed the new steps.

Hundreds rally in Thessaloniki in solidarity with Gaza, condemn Israel’s ongoing genocide

GAZA, August 24, 2025 (WAFA) –

Hundreds of people took to the streets of Thessaloniki, northeastern Greece, on Sunday in solidarity with Gaza and to condemn what they described as Israel's  ongoing genocide against Palestinians since October 2023.

The demonstration, which included members of labor unions, youth cadres from left-wing parties, university students, and academics, began at White Tower Square, one of Thessaloniki's most prominent landmarks.

Participants held up banners reading "Murderer Israel," "Stop the Genocide," and "Freedom for Palestine." Some also placed models of shrouded children in front of the US Consulate in Thessaloniki to protest the killing of Palestinian children by Israel in Gaza.

Protesters called on the international community, particularly the European Union, to take immediate action and not stand idly by in the face of "Israeli massacres that have amounted to genocide."

The demonstration also included the distribution of leaflets that read: "The Palestinian people are not alone... All workers and peoples must unite in a single front for peace and freedom."

Similar demonstrations are expected to take place in several areas of the city throughout the day in Athens.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
